A Man Called Adam - Love Forgotten: Oddities & Rarities Part 1 is unveiled

The project is a careful, thorough trawl through Sally & Steve's deep, vast, incredible archives and history. Taking in both the A Man Called Adam productions and collaborations from the Other Records back-catalogue.

Work has been going on behind the scenes for a long time. Speaking to Sally frequently and hearing the updates is always a joy as she so marvellously steers the ship with Steve through the years Covid ups and downs. With Steve living in Paris and battling with his PHD (now complete!) for a large part of the time. Together with taking the time to re-master, re-work, re-curate, re-edit, re-play the selected pieces of the catalogue.

Due to this project's scale, they split it into two volumes: a film and a fanzine to showcase artwork, film footage, and photos.

In this first part, check out nod's to Andrew Weatherall, Jose Padilla, Brenda Fassie, Idjut Boys and Sensory Productions, amongst other collaborators.

Joy is what radiates from this release, a massive dose of what we need right now—the idea of Love Forgotten especially chiming with these turbulent times.

Typing this brings back memories of a party near Chester where the guys played in the upstairs of a barn only accessible by a long ladder. Until we can all join together for more moments like those again, this aural history brings a lucid and euphoric snapshot of blissful life-changing moments like those. Something in what Sally and Steve are seasoned pioneers.
