We are the Pool, a booking agency representing a collective of International DJs and Live acts from our office in Bristol. Anchored together by our mutual passion for great music, our focus is to develop touring opportunities and strategy for our roster. Balancing our knowledge and expertise with approachability, we work with promoters and artists to create lasting relationships and deliver quality events around the world.

The Pool Agency was created by Matthew Johnson (via Nuphonic / Tirk) and has remained independent for 15 years. Since our inception we’ve grown into a dedicated and experienced team, committed to promoting the artists we believe in, while continuously being inspired by new talent within the scene.

The idea of a 'record pool' emerged within the disco era to acknowledge and strengthen the influence of DJs, forming entities that embodied the power of art over commerce. The Pool celebrates the unifying symbol of the Record Pool and its ethos: to uplift and empower the dance movement.

We are working hard to create an open and inclusive agency. We want to be part of the solution not the problem and to work with our artists, clients and peers to build a conscious, sustainable future for the music we love so much.
