Linkwood
Linkwood is producer, engineer and DJ Nick Moore. He is best known for his highly acclaimed releases on Firecracker Records, including 'Miles Away', 'Piece of Mind', and his stunning 2015 album 'Expressions'.
He released his first LP ‘System’ on Prime Numbers in September 2009 - an album which has recently been re-mastered and re-pressed on Linkwood's 'Night Theatre' label a decade after it was first issued. Complete with new artwork and a couple of track changes, he describes the reissue as "how it should have been printed and sounded the first time around'".
As a teenager growing up in Bristol in the late 80’s/early 90’s, Linkwood became fascinated with house and techno. This inspired him to make his own music and learn everything possible about production and recording techniques. With a reputation for hype-dodging, the infamously elusive Linkwood is currently finalising his first solo live show for 2020, with a collaborative album with Greg Foat on Athens To The North expected this year, and his third solo album soon to follow…
