Maurice Fulton Releases new LP ‘Black Eye’ under 'Syclops’ Alias
Maurice Fulton drops a 10 track LP ‘Black Eye’ of typically uncategorizable leftfield dancefloor curveballs on Bubbletease Communications.
Mixed and recorded in his Sheffield Studio with collaborations from long time Finnish collaborators Hanna Sarkari, Jukka Kantonen and Sven Kortehist, the LP is a tour de force of experimental dance music.

“From tech house to dance punk, from dub to free jazz, Black Eye is a record packed so full of ideas it feels like it might collapse in on itself in a whirlpool of drum machines and sawtooth basslines” - Resident Advisor
“One of the best dance music albums I’ve ever heard. Every track is absolute fire! It’s like an aggressive middle finger to all the boring dance music polluting the world.” - Jacob Amos
“Mr Fulton once again showing us how to do it. Oozing class, inventiveness … what's not to LOVE here. Funk, madness, space, heads down, no punches pulled, grimy at times, listen to the realness. Also great to see Sarah make a comeback and 'that' Syclops Jump Bugs bleep noise. I love the minimalism too. Thank you Maurice!” - Red Rack’Em
