Matt has put together a list of 2020 releases on Buy Music Club. Here’s what he had to say, with a link below:
“With an extended winter hibernation / endless lockdown, it seemed maybe time to hand in our 2020 list, homework, late. While not usually subscribing to end of year tally’s... maybe time for a change.
The recently established ‘Buy Music Club’ from Avalon Emerson and her programmer friends, feels like something refreshing. While the streaming revenue debate rages on, supporting the good ship Bandcamp (which does such a sterling job for musicians) feels positive.
So we’ve signed up and joined the Club. Compiled a small selection of strictly 2020 releases from our Roster of incredible Artists. In the hope some of our followers will support them, in buying some tracks.
Some Artists are missing due to release dates, purely physical releases, tracks not being on Bandcamp etc etc. So nothing definitive but you get the idea.
Some aural excitement, for washing the dishes and dancing round your computer. Or maybe some signposts for a surf trip to those hidden breaks, lurking deep in the Bandcamp matrix.
