Harald Grosskopf is an international recognized legend of German Electronic Music around Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze and Ashra. Also a well known Krautrock veteran.
His electronic solo album Synthesist (1980) counted as an initiative music impulse for Techno and House, with DJ`s around the globe putting it on their turntables. Since 1980 he has published eight solo albums, while he also can be heard on more than 100 album productions in cooperation with other musicians.
In the early Seventies he performed his unique drumming style on several early Klaus Schulze vinyls. As a member of Manuel Göttsching`s Ashra (Ash Ra Tempel), he was involved in 13 of their albums, including compilations.
In 2017 he recorded with original Kraftwerk founding member Eberhard Kranemann an album called ‘Krautwerk’ (Bureau B. label). In the same year they performed it live throughout England and at ‘Tomorrow Festival 2018’ in Shenzhen/China.
